Catch up

The last two weeks we were introduced to King Arthur, through our continuing reading of "An Island Story". This week we read about the Knights of the Round Table.

We're almost done working our way through Ali's Math workbook for the year, which has been Single-Digit Addition & Subtraction. I guess we'll move on to the next book, "Addition & subtraction for multiple-digit numbers and other topics."  And supplement with other resources. 

The last couple of weeks we have been going to the "Science for Homeschoolers" group at our library. It's held Wednesday from 1:15-2:30. The children have been learning how to use the Scientific Method in creating cars, and skimmer boats. The class is fun, and the projects are very "Cool"! I forgot to take pictures from last weeks experiment which was neat, so hopefully I will remember this week and post some.
